Why is this topic important?

 

Partnership, love, and sexuality are fundamental components in every person’s life. For a holistic view of the individual, sexuality holds great significance. It is a driving force in our lives, it is natural and essential, and it shapes our identity. Physicality and sexuality are inseparable concepts in the lives of young people and (young) adults. Therefore, everyone must have the fundamental right to free development and an individual sex life.

We aim to deepen existing knowledge on the topics of HIV/STIs, sexuality, affection, love, and relationships. Through interpersonal communication-based offerings, we also strive to dispel common prejudices – for example, against homosexuality, people living with HIV, people with AIDS, trans identities, and so-called "perverse" sexual preferences. Our goal is to foster and strengthen tolerance and solidarity toward people labeled as "abnormal."

Our mission is to empower young people and (young) adults to act in a self-determined and responsible way regarding their sexuality and related risks such as HIV/STIs. In doing so, we aim to convey an image of sexuality that emphasizes its joyful and pleasurable aspects – without instilling fear.
