Advice and support
The diagnosis HIV-positive is still a message that pulls the rug out from under one's feet and makes a further perspective on life seem unrealistic for the time being.
It often takes some time to grasp the situation and one reacts to the test result with withdrawal and/or repression. It is difficult to find orientation and a suitable contact person.
With us you will find these contact persons!
Here are some examples of our services for HIV-positive people and their relatives:
- Talks about coping with life with HIV and Aids
- Help to build up and stabilize social contacts
- practical help in applying for social benefits
- Therapy-supplementing consultation
- Support in aftercare following inpatient stays
- Consultation hours at the HIV outpatient clinic (Magdeburg University Hospital)
- and much more
